  My ex ripped his nipple ring out when surfing....the metal sticks to the wax on the board. Hurts like biatch too. LOL It could be fuctional. You could attach your leash to it. Less drag.

  A thinking, reasoning person........

  the debate with my husband over my step-daughter's df has begun, just barely.

  he used a phase about me being "a thinking, reasoning person" and he doesn't understand why i don't "see" bible principles.

  i said that phrase is an insult to me, and then it went sour.

  He actually had written a letter of disassociation this Spring but I found it in the trash a month or so later.

  Looks to me like he is struggling with the "truth". There may be an opening for you to discuss with him all the problems you see with the WT. He may come around yet.

  are you the type of guy that has to drive even if it is your wife's car?

  my husband is not.

  we both have our own, but my husbands drives a truck, so going to the meetings i nearly always drove because it is my vehicle, i was never talked to about this, but from the 'looks' i got from the elders i know i would have been if we were still there!

  JWs are quite good at manipulaing their rules. Over the years I have seen JWs do the same thing here in Calif that Midwich has seen in England. They leave the old spouse for a new one, party for a while, go back with their tail between their legs. Do their time and presto! They got what they wanted. What I never see is any concern for the damage they cause to their family and friends. You just can't dump your wife and kids then wonder why the kids are having problems. I don't no what his daughters problem is but I would bet that his behavior contributed to it. For that alone you would think he would be wanting to help her in her situation rather than judge her and slam the door in her face. But there is no reasoning with a JW. They have all the answers because the WT has all the answers. I can only see your situation getting worse unless your husband starts doubting the Watchtower. Is he open to look at anything that would paint the WT in a negative light?

  Baalism is a great Near Eastern nature religion, highly developed by the Canaanites or possibly the Phoenicians, who believed that each copulation of Baal and Astarte brought fertility to their land every spring.

  If this is what Baalism means I guess what the Watchtower is saying is that too many witness are spending their time f'ing off rather than selling their magazines.

  Could this word become part of the witnesses special vocabulary they use to identify themselves? Here are some examples of how they could use the word:

  John is really baaling off. I haven't seen him in service in a month.

  Sure glad I don't go to the east congregation. Bunch of untheocratic baalers go there.

  Get baaled!

  I suffered from Baalism which turned into Bailism which caused me to bail. I highly recommend it.

  mine is called nufefee mang mang and the followers are called mangists.. mang is a kind god, 1/3 male 1/3 female and 1/3 vegemale.

  mang has no physical form but comes to followers in their dreams and while they are eating soup.

  the swirling designs in soup are most often used to convey spiritual messages.. mang created the universe by chopping up the solid ungod thing and throwing it into the wind where it became all that is except for mang.. major tenets.. the purpose of life is living.. death is like poo poo.. we should all live in one big house with a pool.

  Even with the simple tenets of your new religion I see problems brewing that could lead to a new sect forming. For instance you say don't pee in the pool and the shower is the great elevator of the soul. Can I pee in the elevator IE the shower? Is it ok to pee in your wetsuit? Things like this could lead to great controversy, maybe even religious wars.

  i got a job!!!

  i've been on 'disability' for a while, and i hate it.

  it's so hard to make ends meet, and to feel like less of a person because you are not 'working'.. .

  Glad to hear you have a job again. I have been both laid off and on disability over the years so I know how you have felt. I think I could enjoy being without a job if I were rich enough to do whatever I felt like doing but just sitting home broke isn't any fun.

  3 hour tour - my sd interrogation.

  my poor step-daughter went through what is called a jc meeting, 3 hours worth.

  they have given her a week to decide before they df her.

  she is only 18. gads.

  So what is she deciding on?

  I guess she could tell them I've decided not to be df'd and let it go at that but I'm sure that's not what they want to hear.

  The whole thing is so unscriptural. Doesn't the Bible say if someone is sinning go and speak to them. If they don't listen take someone else with you. If that doesn't work take them before the congregation. Obviously that never happens. Where in the Bible does it speak of secret meetings with three men, no transcript, no recording, no one to speak on your behalf. I think I would tell my husband and the elders that the whole thing was one big farce. All I know is if you try to make it fair by requesting that it be recorded or by telling them you want witnesses to be present they slink back into their hole. The reason they don't want a record of the proceeding is that often they would find the Watchtower and themselves as the ones on trial. I would just tell them I don't accept their decision because their methods are flawed.
